Freedom Pinot Noir 2011: The Desert Heart Freedom Pinot Noir 2011 wine was aged for 12 months in 33% new French oak barrels, followed by another 6 months in seasoned oak and exhibits intense aromas of mysterious spices, cocoa, tobacco with black cherries, red berry fruits and spicy savoury herb components. A multidimensional yet approachable wine is opulent on the palate featuring rich and lusciously ripe, juicy black berried fruits plum, liquorice and spices on the palate, a well balanced refreshing acidity with mineral undertones culminating in a long harmonious finish.

A complex wine layered and concentrated on the palate, supported by muscular tannins and acidity, with good balance and fruit continuity. A wine that has excellent structure and concentration that is rich and dense whilst showing great elegance and persistence on the finish.
